Catalogues, press and programmes

Cosenza in the sources

The journey in Cosenza emerges from documents of different periods: a 1999 report on the Casa delle Culture, an announcement and three reports from 2007 on the meeting in the town hall reception room, and two 2019 WDI reports from Villa Rendano.

For 1999, the reference is Maria Greco, “Un’occasione per migliorare la nostra vita”, Oggi Famiglia, March 1999, year XI, no. 3, p. 9. For 2007: Il Quotidiano della Calabria, 22 February, p. 9, and 24 February, p. 24; Gazzetta del Sud, 24 February, p. 38; Calabria Ora, 24 February. The four 2007 items concern the same meeting on 23 February. These references were taken from copies preserved in the author’s archive.

The WDI video reports on Gli algoritmi della coscienza and Factfulness are publicly accessible. The Calabria.Live announcement concerns the lecture on 15 November 2019; the subsequent seminar on 16–17 November was a separate event.

Some places along the journey

A selection of stages, specifying the type of document available, followed by meetings whose documentation is being reconstructed. The journey includes many other lectures and presentations.

  1. Merano · Civic Library · 1995 and 1999. Posters announce Reiki-Do for 1 June 1995 and Tibetan vibration for 9 April 1999. According to the provenance stated by the author, the programme photographs were taken at the libraries; they document the announcements.
  2. Cosenza · Casa delle Culture · 19 February 1999. Migliora la qualità della tua vita, a meeting introduced by Michela Bilotti. Report by Maria Greco in Oggi Famiglia, March 1999, p. 9.
  3. Riva del Garda · Civic Library · 22 December 2004. I racconti del Grande Fiume. Institutional announcement on Trentino Cultura.
  4. Venice · Mondadori bookshop, Piazza San Marco · 14 November 2005. Il linguaggio dimenticato. Announcement published by UnDo.Net.
  5. Cosenza · Town hall, reception room · 23 February 2007. Meeting on the Self Method, documented by the announcement and reports cited in Cosenza in the sources.
  6. Turin · Feltrinelli, Piazza CLN · 8 October 2010. Il cuore dietro la maschera. Listing in La Stampa’s events calendar.
  7. Trieste · Feltrinelli, Via Mazzini 39 · 15 October 2010. Il cuore dietro la maschera, readings and audience interaction. Announcement published on Press-release.it on 14 October, referring to Espande Trieste; it documents the announced programme.
  8. Forlì · Sala Banca di Forlì, Via Bruni 2 · 28 September 2016. Incontri con uomini straordinari, self-knowledge through the Self Method. ForlìToday announces the lecture; on 25 October, Romagna Post presents a recording published on Mario Fontanella’s channel. The announcement, subsequent publication and amateur recording are different kinds of sources; they do not constitute a critical assessment of the method.
  9. Cosenza · Villa Rendano · 2019. Gli algoritmi della coscienza and Factfulness. Two WDI productions, published on 4 June and 16 November 2019 respectively; publication dates alone do not establish recording dates. Links are in Cosenza in the sources.
  10. Cesena · Malatestiana Library, Sala Lignea · 12 October 2024. Presentation of Riflessioni. Announcement on Quoziente Humano, a publication that also hosts contributions by the author.

This documentation allows publications, programmes and individual meetings to be checked. Assessments of the works and methods remain distinct from historical reconstruction.

Milan and Turin: further stages of the journey

The reconstruction also includes meetings reported by the author at Mondadori in Milan, the Circolo dei lettori in Turin and the Libreria Esoterica in Milan.

  • Milan · Mondadori. Presentation of I racconti del Grande Fiume. The meeting is confirmed by the author; the archive contains a video collection with this title and venue. The date remains to be established.
  • Turin · Circolo dei lettori. The author’s channel provides the extracts Fare spazio (published on 22 March 2011) and Vedere se stessi (7 March 2011), both attributed to the Circolo dei lettori in Turin. They are the author’s primary sources; the dates given are video publication dates, not meeting dates. The 2013 label on the Fare spazio collection conflicts with the earlier online publication and is not adopted as the event date. The author recalls at least two meetings; these two extracts are not enough to distinguish them. La seduzione del bene, labelled Turin October 2014 in the archive, has yet to be linked to the second visit.
  • Milan · Libreria Esoterica. A lecture recalled by the author; its title and date are being reconstructed.

For these entries, current sources are the author’s testimony, videos on his channel and, where indicated, the archive inventory. Programmes and external corroboration will be linked when identified.
